Savanah, Georgia, August 16, 2022— Brasseler USA, a leader in the dental and surgical supply markets, has been selected to exhibit the EZX Acetabular Cup Removal System at the Vizient Innovative Technology Exchange (Exchange). Vizient, Inc, the nation’s largest member-driven health care performance improvement company, will hold the Exchange on October 17, 2022, in Dallas.
The annual Exchange offers selected suppliers the unique opportunity to demonstrate their technologies to supply chain and clinical leaders from Vizient’s member hospitals and subject matter experts who serve on their supply councils. Each technology will showcase how it improves clinical outcomes, enhances safety, or drives incremental improvements to health care delivery or business models.
The EZX System’s proprietary design allows easy access for the removal of cemented and non-cemented acetabular cups during hip revision surgery. The system utilizes powered technology with a single rotating blade to reduce surgical procedural time and the risk of acetabular fractures. The 29 blade options make a precise cut with predictable results to minimize bone loss.
“We are excited to showcase our new EZX Acetabular Cup Removal System at the Vizient Innovative Technology Exchange,” said Tom Brown, Global Sales Development, Brasseler USA. “Surgeons across the US have used this device in more than 250 cases. Our team looks forward to demonstrating how EZX can directly aid in not only providing greater surgeon comfort during a procedure but also help to achieve better patient outcomes.”
The annual Exchange is part of Vizient’s Innovative Technology Program that includes product review of supplier-submitted technologies by member-led councils and task forces. Since 2003, Vizient has reviewed over 1,600 product submissions as part of its Innovative Technology Program.
